Most workers take pride in their work and want to do a good job. But all workers need feedback: they need to know if their performance is on target – in line with their job duties but also contributing toward advancing the organization’s strategy and goals. In short, we all need accountability.

IQC — in partnership with PEN and WCPE — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, June 26: “The Value of Three Forms of Feedback.” The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Robert (Bob) Milligan of Dairy Strategies.

In this discussion, Bob will explore the power of a unique performance management system that relies on three types of feedback rather than the standard two. Bob’s method (named Workforce Success System) — which has been used by many businesses in the region — focuses on setting clear expectations and then providing higher quality feedback. The process uses “redirection feedback,” which focuses more on improvement and redirection rather than reprimand. Bob will be joined by two of his clients, each sharing “case studies” of how this system works:

J Schanbacher, co-owner Schanbacher Acres and Atkins Raw Milk Dairy

Stuart Ziehm, co-owner Tiashoke Farm and Store

The session will conclude with a group discussion about the usefulness and applicability of this approach in any type of organization, including your own!

This session is Thursday, June 26 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE/IQC members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!
