Free examiners for being an applicant (# of free varies by application level)
IRPE Applicant (new examiner)
New IRPE Examiner – $600.00
New examiner or examiner who has not been with IRPE in the past 4 years. Must attend training both days.
New IRPE Examiner - Previously Took Examiner Experience – $375.00
If you took the examiner experience in 2020/2021, you can pay a reduced rate. Attend training both days.
Returning IRPE Examiner – $375.00
Any returning examiners within the last 3 years. Must attend training day #2.
Returning IRPE Examiner & Refresher Training – $400.00
Returning examiner from past 3 years who would like to attend both days of training.

Join us for a unique experience to learn about Iowa organizations and provide them feedback as they continue on their Baldrige Journey. Many have said this experience is like getting an MBA in just 4 months.

Being an examiner is a core step in deepening your skills and understanding of the Baldrige framework.

As an examiner, you will learn the skills of being an examiner, be assigned an applicant from Iowa with a team, perform individual review of the applicant. The team then gathers during consensus week to determine the initial feedback that is then verified on site with the applicant.

Training in 2022 includes:

August 22-23 Examiner Training and Orientation (returning examiners need to attend August 23 only)
Oct 3-6 Consensus Week
Site Visits (Oct/Nov) 3-5 days on site with the application you are assigned
