Workshops Print

The Iowa Quality Center prides itself in development and delivery of workshops that produce learning and sharing of our members.  Workshops are typically half day or full day learning events that provide either a beginner overview or a more in-depth topic related to continuous improvement, lean or six sigma.

IQC Workshops address:

  • Customized member needs as recognized for improvement.
  • Short overview classes for introduction of tools or concepts.
  • In depth training for building capacity within the organization.
  • Learning difficult statistical tools or
  • Refresher classes for Green and Black Belt Certification

Transitioning to ISO 9001 2015 (1/2 day overview)

Companies certified to ISO 9001 2008 must recertify to ISO 9001 2015 by September of 2018. In this course, our experienced ISO 9001 Facilitators will cover the new requirements and provide you with a roadmap for recertification.

ISO 9001 2015 Risk Management Workshop (1/2 day workshop)

ISO 9001 2015 adds Risk Based Thinking and requirements for managing risk and opportunities. In this workshop, you will establish materials and action plans to not only comply with the new requirements, but also strengthen your organization.

Continual Improvement Mini Workshops

One of the key missions of the Iowa Quality Center is to bring knowledge and training to our clients. Courses that allow you to refresh your skills on key quality tools that you haven’t used in a while, or allow you to learn a new skill that you need for a particular project or challenge.
