This class is modeled after the class that the Iowa Quality Center has provided for the past ten years. Participants will review the standard, learn auditing techniques, and hone their new skills by conducting an actual audit off-site during the 3-day period.

This one-day class will provide your organization with the skills, tools, and techniques to perform an internal assessment using the Baldrige Criteria as an assessment framework.

This class is designed for six sigma project team leaders. Students will learn: Advanced Statistical Analysis, DOE Techniques, Team Facilitation, to drive the DMAIC process, Lean Enterprise Concepts, data analysis using Minitab (software included in cost)

This overview provides an introduction for the top level executive group initiating a Six Sigma process in the organization.

This 8-day class is designed for all six sigma project Team Members. Students will learn: Intermediate statistical analysis techniques; How to work together in teams; The DMAIC Process; and How to create and present solutions for management buy-in and support.

Lean Guru, Masaaki Imai, leads participants through a Gemba walk of a local organization and explains why KAIZEN© is the key success factor for developing and implementing your corporate strategy.

This interactive workshop, which is built around case studies and “fun” challenges, reinforces the fact that everyone is creative, just in different ways. When problem-solving, some people excel at generating ideas; others choose to focus on solutions. Both “styles” are critical to creative problem-solving and managing change. Take-aways include 10 tools that can be implemented immediately.

This workshop allows participants from all sectors of the community (education, health care, government, service, non-profit, manufacturing) to learn the principles of quality and the tools most commonly used to identify and solve problems within the work environment.

LAUNCH is one of the modules available in workplacelean™, a product developed by Iowa’s 15 Community Colleges. This 8-hour program will provide attendees with tools to improve individual work processes by eliminating non-value added activities using current and future-state process mapping.
