 Education

Educational enterprises, like  K-12 schools, post-secondary schools, and universities, have many of the same issues as organizations from other fields.  Some of these issues are cost containment, teaming, training, leadership, and process improvement.  Unique to education are the relationships with students that influence capacity for learning, intrinsic motivation, and improvement in the classroom.

Some key areas addressed by the Iowa Quality Center include:
 -   Developing relationships between organizations and schools through Student Teams.
 -   Bringing Quality Tools and Continuous Improvement into the classroom through problem solving workshops.
 -   Promoting Career Development through partnerships with Associations, Community Colleges, and State Departments of Education.

The Iowa Quality Center can assist educational organizations and individual educators through consultation and training in problem solving methods, tools application, team building, classroom facilitation, and students becoming responsible for their learning.
