Six Sigma

The Six Sigma approach is designed to improve processes in order to achieve zero defects. In order to identify and remove errors, the Six Sigma methodology uses the DMAIC process: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. Originally developed as a manufacturing process at Motorola, Six Sigma is now used widely in many different manufacturing industries as well as in the healthcare arena.

Training Opportunities


Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training This class is designed for all six sigma project Team Members. Students will learn: Intermediate statistical analysis techniques; How to work together in teams; The DMAIC Process; and How to create and present solutions for management buy-in and support.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training This 2-week class is designed for six sigma project team leaders and is open to anyone with a Six Sigma Green Belt. Students will learn: Advanced Statistical Analysis, DOE Techniques, Team Facilitation, to drive the DMAIC process, Lean Enterprise Concepts and data analysis the Minitab software.

Continual Improvement Mini Workshops
