 The Power of Innovation

This interactive workshop, which is built around case studies and “fun” challenges, reinforces the fact that everyone is creative, just in different ways. When problem-solving, some people excel at generating ideas; others choose to focus on solutions. Both “styles” are critical to creative problem-solving and managing change. Take-aways include 10 tools that can be implemented immediately.

Many people believe that an organization’s level of creativity and innovativeness is one of the last frontiers of competitiveness in today’s market. How can you take advantage of your employees’ creativity? First, you must realize every person is creative, just in different ways. To help you understand the depth and breadth of your personal creativity, this workshop utilizes the VIEW survey. This survey, which is built upon 30 years of research on creativity, is an assessment of the participant’s problem-solving style. The VIEW will give each individual 3 valuable scores: Their orientation to change, their manner of processing and their decision-making style. If a team attends the workshop together, the insight into one another’s own problem-solving style gives them a much better perspective of understanding each other and building on each other’s strengths. A key element of the class is the 10 tools that will serve as a “toolkit” to use when problem-solving.

At the end of the workshop, participants:
Will understand their own personal style preferences to solving problems
Are able to define creativity and critical thinking
Can name, explain and apply ten thinking tools that allow them to generate ideas and focus on solutions to workplace problems.

Who Should Attend?

Any individual or team who is interested in learning a systematic manner to approach problem-solving in a creative way and manage change.
