In this highly interactive workshop participants will learn to: · Use the Baldrige Criteria to identify an organization’s corporate sustainability/ social responsibility issues · Conduct an in-house corporate sustainability self-assessment · Identify key economic, environmental, and social issues that impact an organization’s corporate sustainability · Develop a Baldrige-based corporate sustainability plan incorporating the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Index
Donald Fisher, Executive Director/CEO of Mid-South Quality/Productivity Center —The Quality Center in Memphis, Tennessee, has served as a four year national examiner for the Baldrige National Quality Program and has presented and consulted on the Baldrige Criteria in the U.S. and internationally. He is currently advising the EPA in the creation of their SmartWay award program.
He is the author or co-author of several books on performance excellence including his most recent Baldrige-based book: Corporate Sustainability Planning Assessment Guide: A Comprehensive Organizational Assessment.
