The Baldrige framework is a proven set of criteria that can be used for multiple purposes.  An application for the national Baldrige Award, the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence, or AQIP accreditation are just a few examples. However, the very act of assessing your organization and the process of documenting the key processes and results can provide abundant feedback in areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement.

Class Scheduled:
Feb.16th (8:30am-5:00pm) & Feb. 17th (8:30am-11:30am)
Kirkwood Training & Outreach Center, Marion, Iowa
$275/person or $225/person for 3 or more from same organization

Course Overview
This one and a half day class will focus on the tools and techniques your organization can use to write an application.  Participants will understand what the AQIP/IRPE/Baldrige Examiners are looking for in an application and how to organize the right people to complete an application.

Learning Outcomes
You will receive tips, tools, techniques, samples, and a start to finish process that will lead to a completed application. At the completion of this workshop you will have a step-by-step method for mobilizing your organization to 1) fully address the criteria requirements, and 2) prepare an award application. Using the Capacity Matrix for Performance Excellence makes writing a Baldrige, IRPE, AQIP or self assessment application a snap.  Designed by the Iowa Quality Center the Capacity Matrix provides linkages to approach, deployment, learning and integration the key measures of Baldrige.  The matrix is available in business, healthcare, education and non profit sectors.
