TPS organizes manufacturing and logistics for the automobile manufacturer, including interaction with suppliers and customers.
This class is modeled after the class that the Iowa Quality Center has provided for the past ten years. Participants will review the standard, learn auditing techniques, and hone their new skills by conducting an actual audit off-site during the 3-day period.

The auditing of quality management systems is recognized as an important tool for assuring that business practices are followed, in order to meet or exceed customer expectations. With Lean, 5S, and other process improvement techniques, audits are used to further identify opportunities for improvement. This course is designed to train auditors to audit quality management system performance against defined business practices and the ISO 9001:2008 standard. By conducting an actual internal audit at a local company during the course, the participants are able to hone their skills and receive feedback from experienced auditors.
At the completion of the course, participants will be able to: Apply the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Plan and conduct internal audits to ISO standards Demonstrate competency by successfully completing an internal audit Determine the effectiveness of quality management systems Who Should Attend?
